If anyone can get to Drayton Manor Park next Saturday (10th October) it will be well-worth the effort!
Last year saw over 2,500 bikes take part in RTTW2008, and the signs are that this year the numbers are likely to break 5,000. Some bikers are making their way there on the Friday and camping overnight, and there are several meeting-up places around the country for bikers to make their way there in groups. See http://www.rttw.org to register, see the pics from last year's event, and check details in the forum. Anyone taking a car, is advised to make their way directly to the Arboretum as cars will not be admitted once the bikes start arriving. Timings are :- Form up ready to depart - 10:30 Leave Drayton manor - 11:00 Service at the Arboretum - 13:30 Fly past - 13:55 |
